A Husbands Review
(3 Day Intensive Package)
My wife and I knew something was off for a few years, we just didn’t know what. We have been married for 24 years and weathered many storms together, but there was also a lot of hurt both ways. We met Travis and Adelle at a marriage retreat. We developed a trust with them over the weekend (rather quickly for us), so agreeing to a weekend intensive – though a bit scary – seemed like the obvious choice.
That weekend occurred January 2023, nearly six months ago. The term “life changing” has become diluted with overuse but is absolutely the appropriate term for what occurred that weekend for me personally and for our marriage. We were not the marriage on the brink of divorce, but we were the marriage destined to survive but never thrive. That changed through our time with Noble Marriage.
We would recommend The Noble Marriage Intensive weekend for any marriage (or even soon to be marriage). Here are two reasons why:
first, Travis and Adelle are gifted in hospitality and discernment, walk with humility, and have a passion to see marriages healed. You will be amazed at how each of these plays a part throughout the weekend – it is intense as our ability to trust them to guide us was imperative to the work God ended up doing.
The second reason is the content and the work.
The experience is more than a weekend and begins several weeks before. Each session was intentional which would become evident in time. It was difficult at times to be sure but also set the stage for freedom and healing. Over the weekend, the curriculum built upon what we had already been working provided insight into the battle raging against our hearts and marriage as well as the tools needed to fight back.
Also beneficial was the space during the weekend to begin using those tools with coaching from Travis and Adelle.
Looking back six months later, the changes have had staying power. We operate differently in our marriage – conversations are open and transparent, we are not as afraid to be vulnerable with each other, praying together is natural, mutual respect and honor has become foundational. We also have the confidence that when the battle rages (as it has), we can now work through it with new insight and tools.

"I wanted to set my marriage up to succeed, and premarital counseling was suggested as a way to build a strong foundation of communication. As someone who considered myself a good communicator, I initially thought premarital counseling would just be another item on my already busy calendar.
