I wanted to set my marriage up to succeed, and premarital counseling was suggested as a way to build a strong foundation of communication. As someone who considered myself a good communicator, I initially thought premarital counseling would just be another item on my already busy calendar. Plus, the idea of being vulnerable, confronting areas needing improvement, and undergoing potentially uncomfortable healing didn't exactly thrill me.

Finding the right marriage counselor or coach was another daunting task. However, among all the options, The Noble Marriage quickly stood out. This program is not only eye-opening, it's life-changing. Travis and Adelle packed the sessions with many valuable tools for processing thoughts and emotions in a healthy manner! One concept I found extremely helpful was the ‘internal-roommate’, a fascinating way to explain how we fall for the lies of the enemy. This tool helped me recognize and debunk destructive thought patterns. Another truth I now utilize is the concept of observing our thoughts rather than resisting, because I used to get really upset with some of the random things that ran across my mind. The tool I love and use the most is the 80/20 Rule, which has helped me limit how often I over-react and assign wrong meaning to situations. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for growth and freedom! -Jen

I did the Whole and Complete Course with Adelle after doing the Freedom Course through our church. All I can say is, “WOW!” It was an amazing experience for me. Parts of it were hard but it was definitely worth the work and effort. I learned a lot about myself and why I act and react certain ways and say and do certain things. In particular, the section on thorns was very eye opening, giving me language for what I was feeling and why. I was able to better understand how I interact with my husband and why we need to learn these things about ourselves so we can be open and transparent with each other to achieve the oneness that we desire. I also learned how to recognize when these thorns were affecting my relationship with my kids and how to correct certain thoughts and behaviors to have better communication with them. This course continues to help me even today: I now have tools that help me stop and ask why am I reacting this way, what really happened, and what am I making it mean and I am able pinpoint the issues that need to be dealt with and fix them. If I had only a couple words to describe the coaching and program leading up to the intensive, it would be “LIFE CHANGING”. Travis and Adelle are amazing life coaches. I say life coaches because they help transform your life during and after the intensive. They are in tune with the Holy Spirit and are guided by the Holy Spirit in every step.
